Olive oil comes from the olive fruit and contains monounsaturated fatty acids.

Olive oil is a type of fruit oil that is extracted by pressing ripe olives that grow on olive trees. Olive trees are evergreen shrubs, native to many parts of the world including Mediterranean Europe, Asia, and Africa.

It is beneficial for the skin and face. This is because it contains antioxidants, vitamins, and antibacterial properties.

It’s high in squalene, linoleic and linolenic acids — these all have emollient (moisturizing effects) for hair.
